Our Story
At 5-years-old, I told my mom that I wanted to learn how to make yeast doughnuts. Before long, I was running my own summer business selling doughnuts to my local community. By 13, I was teaching classes to adults on how to make my award-winning, vanilla glazed doughnuts.
Nearly a decade and half later, I still find new ways to deepen my love for baking. Last year, I decided to try my hand at making my own vanilla extract and give it to family members as Christmas gifts, and they were a hit! Through Ambrosia, I’m bringing that same excitement to you.
I learned a couple important things as I entered this world of vanilla extract. First, it’s amazing how much one ingredient—one quality ingredient—can elevate the taste of your homemade goods. Second, not all vanilla extracts are created equal. You won’t be able to find the same quality that Ambrosia Vanilla offers anywhere. I care as much about how your food tastes as you do!
Now, my beautiful wife, adorable son, and I are getting ready to move to Illinois so I can start business school at the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. We are so excited!
This graduate program requires that I take a break from full-time employment. I wanted to find a way to bring in a little supplemental income during school while still empowering my wife to be the best mom in the world. Ambrosia Vanilla is our solution to that problem.
